Create a click-to-chat link with a pre-filled message, copy button code for your website, and download a scannable WhatsApp QR code.
Enter the number and an optional pre-filled message.
How the chat opens for your customer.
A click-to-chat link (https://wa.me/<number>) opens a WhatsApp conversation with that number without the visitor having to save the contact first. Add ?text= to pre-fill a message. It works for personal and WhatsApp Business numbers, on Android, iPhone, WhatsApp Web and Desktop.
The number must be in full international format — country code followed by the number, with no +, spaces, dashes or leading zeros. For example, an Indian mobile 98765 43210 becomes 919876543210. This tool does that clean-up for you.
Put the button on your website, Instagram or Facebook bio, Google Business profile, email signature, invoices, product packaging, visiting cards and shop posters. The QR code is ideal for print — customers scan it and the chat opens with your message already typed.
You do not need the +. Pick the country (or paste a number starting with +) and the tool builds the full international number. Do not type the leading 0 — it is removed automatically.
Usually the number has the wrong length, includes an extra 0, or is not registered on WhatsApp. This tool warns you when the length is unusual for the selected country. WhatsApp itself does not tell us whether a number is registered.
Yes. Emojis, other languages and line breaks are encoded safely. You can also use *bold*, _italic_, ~strikethrough~ and ```monospace``` formatting, which WhatsApp displays inside the chat.
WhatsApp messages can be long, but very long links can break in some apps. Keep the pre-filled text short; the tool warns you if the finished link goes over 2,000 characters.
No. The QR code simply stores your link, so it keeps working as long as the phone number stays on WhatsApp. If you change the message or number, create a new QR code.
No. The link and QR code are generated in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers.
Medium works for most uses. Choose Quartile or High for printing on rough surfaces or if you want a smaller, more damage-tolerant code — higher levels make the QR denser.
