Privacy Policy

Plain-language details of what happens to your data on tools.wondernudge.in.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Summary

In short: we do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email or phone number through the tools. Most tools run entirely in your browser, so what you type or upload stays on your device. The site uses cookies and similar technologies for advertising, served by Google and its partners, which are described below.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use tools.wondernudge.in (the "Site"), how it is used, and what choices you have. "We", "us" and "WonderNudge" mean the operator of the Site. It applies to the Site only; the main WordPress site at wondernudge.in may be covered by its own notices.

Information you give us

Tool input. Text, files, images, colours, numbers and other input you enter into a tool are processed locally in your browser by JavaScript. They are not sent to our server and we do not store them, with the exceptions listed under "Tools that make a network request" below.

Messages you send us. If you contact us through the Contact page or by email, we receive the details you choose to include (such as your name, email address and message) and use them only to respond and to improve the Site.

We do not offer user accounts, logins, payments or newsletters on this Site.

Tools that make a network request

ToolWhat happens
YouTube Tag ExtractorThe YouTube video ID from the link you paste is sent to our server, which asks the YouTube Data API (a Google service) for that video's public title, channel name and tags and returns them to you. We do not need your YouTube account. Use of the API is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
YouTube Thumbnail DownloaderThumbnail images are loaded directly from YouTube's image servers, so YouTube may receive your IP address and browser details as with any image request.

All other tools perform their work locally. If a tool is ever changed to send data to a server, we will say so on that tool's page and update this policy.

Data stored on your device

The Markdown Editor and Code Playground automatically save your current draft in your browser's localStorage so you do not lose work if you close the tab. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed by clearing the site data in your browser settings. Some other tools may remember simple display preferences the same way.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server (hosted by Hostinger) automatically records technical information when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser and device type, and referring page. We use these logs for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning. They are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period under its own policies.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its advertising partners ("third-party vendors") use cookies and similar technologies, such as the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure ad performance and prevent fraud.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
  • To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Ads will still appear, but they may be less relevant.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: where the law requires your consent for advertising cookies, we ask for it through a consent banner before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.

The Site's own functionality does not depend on these cookies. We do not control third-party cookies; their use is governed by the privacy policies of those vendors.

Analytics

At the time of writing, we do not run a separate analytics service on the Site. If we add one (for example, Google Analytics), we will describe it here and, where required, ask for your consent first.

How we use information

  • To operate, secure and maintain the Site and its tools.
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To show advertising that helps fund the Site.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, namely our hosting provider (Hostinger), Google (AdSense and, for the YouTube tools, the YouTube Data API), and authorities where we are legally required to. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. In India these rights arise under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; in the EEA and UK, under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Because we do not hold accounts or tool input, there is usually very little to access or delete, but if you have contacted us and want your message removed, use our Contact page.

Children

The Site is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs are kept for a limited period by the hosting provider.

External links

Tools and pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
